Casinacho Games
Casinacho Games is a pack of short arcade challenges bundled into one app, and it turned out to be a surprisingly good time-killer. Each mini-game runs for under a minute, so it fits perfectly into those moments when you're waiting for the kettle or a train. The controls are all tap and swipe, nothing fiddly, which means you can jump in cold and understand what you're doing within seconds.
What I liked most is how clean the presentation feels. The menus are snappy, the colors are easy on the eyes, and there's a satisfying little flourish when you beat your previous best. Progress is tracked across every mode, so you keep coming back to shave a few points off your own records rather than chasing anything fake.
It's not deep, and it doesn't pretend to be. But as a lightweight arcade grab-bag it does its job well, and the variety between the modes keeps it from getting stale after a week.
